  • Who is a cosmetic dermatologist?
    A dermatologist who has undergone training to learn various cosmetic procedures like chemical peels, lasers, Botox, etc.
  • When should I consult for hair loss?
    If you’re rapidly losing hair or more than 100 hair in a day, this can be due to a medical condition. In such a case you should consult a dermatologist to find the underlying cause of hair falls like iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, PCOD, or chronic disease.
  • Do we need to consult a dermatologist for acne?

  • Can I get consultation for surgical conditions?
    The clinic offers consultation for all general and laparoscopic surgeries. After that, minor surgical procedures are performed in the clinic. The major surgeries and hospital admissions for procedures like hernia, fissure, fistula, haemorrhoids, circumcision, etc are done at affiliated hospitals.

    We have a well-equipped minor OT for procedures like corn excision, cyst or swelling excision, skin biopsy, ingrown toenail surgery, mole removal, wart removal, punch grafting in vitiligo, etc.
  • What can I expect at the initial consultation?
    Our doctor will bring you into a consultation room where your presenting concern will be discussed and an examination performed. Following this, our doctor will discuss with you your diagnosis and treatments, determining with you the most suitable treatment and discussing alternatives. Occasionally patients require additional tests to confirm their diagnosis. These include having a small skin sample (biopsy) taken and examining the skin with special illumination devices. These will be fully discussed with you if they are required.
